Is The Government Aware of The Situation of The Farmers?

In 2013 an agriculture strike ocurred because colombian Government imported food that increased costs of food and farmers were not getting enough profit to support their families. Competitive and external difficulties between the farmers and the government were created.
For the solution of these problems, the country has signed TLC, to seel products in international market and define the mechanims that will help them to be able to get products abroad. However, the Ministry of Agriculture also puts rules of importation of these products. “These situations have caused dissatisfactions in our community of farmers for many years, that finished in an agrarian strike in 2013, which got solved with some basic agreements with the Government”.
Another solution for these agrarian strike was a strate that the Ministry defines as an “agricultural pact”, did differnet groups of people to help the population and the farmers. Also worked to lower costs of products .
The investigation about the agrarian strike gave us information about important topics that happened in the country and how the farmers have an important role in the country.
The colombian farmers with their crops supports their families and help the nacional economic because they give the food for the cities.
The production of the food must be in sufficient quantity to sell the other countries.
The government had to look for mechanims to help and improve the farmers situation, but this thing did not been working well so they sat down and
talked, they finally got some conclusions that strengthened in technology and finance to improve the production of the farmers crops, therefore when there is unconformity of any situation, in this case the farmers and the government. The best way to solve the things is the dialogue, this was the way which demonstrate that with conversations you can get benefits of the parts involved.
